There is a functional issue in the attendance regularization module recently deployed for the afore mentioned reason for GM’s. The details are as follows:
Scenario: An employee designated as General Manager has an attendance irregularity (Late-In / Early-Out) on the last day of a particular month.
Functional Issue: When logging onto HRMS on the last day of a month to input necessary details of attendance regularization, the system does not show the attendance data for that particular day as attendance module deployed onto HRMS by itself is scheduled to show the attendance data only until the penultimate / previous day.
The next working day would be the 1st working day of the consecutive month and when the General Manager logs onto the HRMS for attendance regularization, HRMS returns the message that data is available only for current payroll month i.e. the month consecutive to the actual month to be regularized.
The issue is that HRMS shows data only of the previous day, and data of the current day is uploaded only the next day which does not allow any timeframe to regularize attendance for the last working day of any particular month.
Hence my suggestion would be to provide the a timeframe for General Managers to regularize their attendance till the 2nd working day of the consecutive month for the actual month where attendance regularization is needed. Ideally a message needs to be displayed at their HRMS dashboard that their attendance regularization is pending action with the specified deadline to complete the task after which standard penalties will be applied.
