After this prologue, where the Lord incites us to carry out the
most perfect acts of supernatural virtue and gifts of the Holy
Spirit and to reconquer the world for God by our apostolate,
Jesus teaches us the fundamental obligation. This obligation was
essential in Christ’s life and must be essential for the life of any of
his disciples: the fulfillment of the will of God. “My food is to do
the will of him who sent me” (Jn 4:34). “I have come down from
