هونLily studied for 14 years at the Collège du Sacré Cœur du Caire, where she learnt English and French to a high level of proficiency. A few years later, she graduated from university with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Sciences. For 11 years, she was Secretary General of the Egyptian branch of the Young Women’s Christian Association, an international women’s organization. In 2011, she was selected as leader of the Egyptian delegation to the United Nations, where her work focused on extreme poverty. In 2010, Lily joined DAESN, to devote herself to improving conditions for disabled people.
