SITE DEMOLITION AND REMOVALS
PART 1 - GENERAL
Provide tabor, materials, equipment and services, and perform operations required for dispose of temporary site accommodations and removals and related work as specified herein, after the completion of BP2a, BP2b, BP3, BP4, BP5 and BP6 Contracts.
Work Included: The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
1. BP2a Contractor shall dismantle and remove off site the following temporary facilities, after the completion of the permanent works of the entire project i.e. “tire works of BP2a, BP2b, BP3, BP4, BP5 and BP6’'and as approved by the Engineer.
a. Fence and gates
b. Sanitary facilities
c. Temporary Water facilities
d. Temporary Electrical Panels, network and Light Fittings
e. Temporary Fire fighting protection
f. Temporary Telephone services
g. Construction facilities
h. Temporary Weather protection
i. And all other facilities that in nature not forming part of permanent works.

1.1 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Work shall conform to the latest edition of applicable reference specifications and to applicable codes and requirements of local authorities having jurisdiction.
B. Conflicting Requirements: In the event of conflict between pertinent codes and regulations and the requirements of the referenced standards of these specifications, the provisions of the more stringent shall govern.
1.2 SUBMITTALS
Schedules: Submit a Phasing Plan indicating proposed sequence of operations I condition of the temporary facilities. Upon the completion of the contract, a general will be held at the site to map the procedure of the removal of the temporary facilities in detail and arrive at a mutual agreement regarding the sequence of operations. work of this Section until the final Phasing of the project,
1.3 PROJECT CONDITIONS
A. Protection
1. Provide warning signs required by jurisdictional authorities and/or site conditions to protect persons, streets, onsite and offsite property, as may be required and as supplementary to such items that have been moved off site. Ascertain legal and other requirements.
B. Existing Utilities
1. Notify telephone, water and electricity service utility authorities before starting work. Make arrangements with them for the removal of their equipment/connections from the site and temporary facilities, and for the capping of pipes and wiring. (Ascertain that water, structures, to be demolished, sewers, electric services, etc. have been disconnected and capped before starting any work).
2. Protect existing services coordinated with the authorities remain. Replace and/or repair services damaged as a result of demolition work, at no expense to the Employer.
C. Streets. Curbs and Sidewalks
1. Protect the streets, roads, curbs, sidewalks, and other existing items not to be removed. Portions damaged as a result of the work shall be replaced and repaired in compliance with the regulations of authorities having jurisdiction and without cost to Employer.
2. Do not close or obstruct street or sidewalks in connection with the work. Materials shall not be placed or stored in or on streets or sidewalks.
3. Investigate the conditions of public thoroughfares and roads as to availability, clearances, load limits, restrictions and other limitations affecting transportation to and from the site and secure, in advance, such permits as may be necessary.

PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.1 EXAMINATION
A. Examine conditions at the job site where work of this section is to be performed to ensure proper arrangement and fit of the work.
3.2 DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL
A. Check the existing conditions where alterations and changes are to be performed and include labor and material costs herein. Remove parts or items designated and intended for reuse, to adjacent property.
B. Demolition and removal work shall be performed in strict accordance with the rales and regulation of codes and ordinances of authorities, as applicable.
C. Material to be Salvage: Material to be salvaged shall be listed and stored as approved by the Engineer. Upon the approval of the list, the Contractor shall remove Salvage items from Employer's property before completion of the Contract. Salvage items shall not be sold on site.
D. Concrete, masonry, and other noncombustible materials shall be disposed in the disposal area located off the site.

SECTION 02220 EARTHWORK
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 SUMMARY
A. Provide labor, materials, equipment and services, and perform operations required for earthwork as indicated on drawings and specified herein.
B. Work Included: The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
1. Preparing and grading sub grades for slabs-on-grade, walks, pavements, and landscaping.
2. Excavating and backfilling for building and structures.
3. Excavating and backfilling trenches within building lines.
4. Obta
