Summary of notes
1) Suhail Bahwan Group clarified that the 10 organizations are in the varied sectors including trading, services, retail and projects.
2) The 5 centralized services departments in the scope are - Finance, Human Resources, Audit, IT and Legal.
3) HR policy review would not be in the scope of the project and shall be dropped.
4) The group is looking for increasing efficiency, remove duplication of work and right sizing the organisation. In view of this objective Deloitte explained and suggested Manpower Planning exercise to address the desired objectives. The Group will revert if Manpower Planning exercise needs to be added in the scope.
5) The group is also looking for consistency in salary range across organisation in line with market. It was discussed that Compensation Benchmarking exercise would provide the industry salary benchmarks for the group. The Group will revert if Compensation benchmarking exercise needs to be done.
6) Deloitte to provide the list of documents to kick start the project and do preliminary study and analysis.
7) Suhail Bahwan Group require a full time resource (for approx. 1 yr) for the project implementation. This resource will also be the part of project engagement team. It was suggested by members of Suhail Bahwan Group that this resource would ideally be inducted into the payroll of the group subsequently.
8) Suhail Bahwan Group to set up next call for indicating the finalization of the scope and informing whether to include Manpower planning and Compensation benchmarking in the current project.
9) Suhail Bahwan Group to propose schedule for final kick off meeting with MD and Dr. Vishalli.
