Summary
This master thesis is entitled, The Reality of Change Management and Its Impact on Employees' Performance in the Libyan Ministry of Health based on al-Thora Teaching Hospital: case study. Change management has been emphasized in developed countries. When compared with developing countries accordingly, there is a lack of research on the comprehensive understanding of the reality of change management and its significance. The fundamental objective of this research was to examine the reality of change management and to investigate the impact of the change in organizational structure, technology and human resources based on the employee performance. Due to the nature of data required, a descriptive quantitative research method has been used by which a survey questionnaire was employed for the data collection. The sample size of this research was 150 employees working in Libyan Ministry of Health at al-Thora Teaching Hospital.
The research findings have revealed that employees were overseeing the organizational change and positive relationships have been approved between the flexibility of organizational structure, change in technology, change in human resources and employee performance. The data analysis has employed the regression analysis through SPSS version 20. A set of recommendations and suggested research areas have been presented based on the research findings.
