Opening Procedure:
Six decks of cards will be checked and prepared in accordance with the Company’s Card Opening and Checking Procedures that can be found in the Crockfords Cairo General Gaming Procedures document.
Once all the cards have been checked they will be chemmy shuffled.
The cards will then be inserted into the Shuffle Machine, approximately one deck at a time, face up, until all the cards have been placed in the Machine.
The Dealer and the Inspector will ensure that all the cards are in the Shuffle Machine, and in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, check that the Machine recognises that no cards are missing or that there are any extra cards.
The Shuffle Machine is now ready for use.
Breaks in Gaming:
In the event that the Table is not going to be opened straight away the Shuffle Machine must be unloaded and the cards securely locked in the discard holder.
Similarly, in the event that play has stopped at the Table, the cards will be removed and securely stored in the discard holder.
In either event, when the game is resumed a chemmy shuffle is required prior to inserting the cards in the Machine.
As detailed above the Dealer and the Inspector will ensure that all the cards are in the Shuffle Machine and in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, check that the Machine recognises that no cards are missing or that there are any extra cards.
