CLINICAL INDICATION:
Metastatic breast cancer to assess for bone metastasis.
TECHNIQUE:
Single phase Tc-99 MDP whole body bone scan was obtained as per standard protocol.
FINDINGS:
Comparison was made with previous bone scan dated 12/01/2015.
There are multiple new metastatic bony lesions involving multilevel thoracic spine, bilateral ribs and the pelvis with most of the previously seen metastatic lesions in the axial and proximal appendicular skeleton showing interval progression.
IMPRESSION:
Widespread bone metastasis showing significant interval progression campared to Jan. 2015 study.
