To download this EOI details in an MS Word format please click here The United Nations World Food Programme operation in Yemen (“WFP”) is updating its Primary and Secondary Transport shortlists for inland transportation services, and invites applications from registered transport companies for these services:Primary Inland Transport services will entail customs clearance and transport services for relief food and non-food commodities from Aden and Hodeida Ports & Silos to WFP warehouses in Sana’a , Aden, Hodidah, Ibb and Saada. Secondary Inland Transport services will require transportation of relief food and non-food commodities from WFP warehouses in Sana’a, Aden, Hodeida, Ibb and Saada to nationwide distribution points.Transport companies interested in providing these services are requested to complete a Transport Questionnaire (see below for details). Only companies who meet the following criteria need reply to this Expression of Interest:Companies must have access to a large pool of trucksCompanies must have a minimum of 3 years of transport experience.Companies should be financially strong and have a secure capital flow.Companies must be registered with all relevant Government departments and have all required licenses. Companies must also not be blacklisted from any other organization.Companies should have sufficient capacity to operate nationwide.If your company meets these criteria and wishes to be considered for provision of these services, you must submit the following documentation in hard copy by close of business on September 25th, 2016 to Omar Alhomse at the WFP Yemen Country Office Diplomatic Area , Nowakshot St, House No. 22,– Sana'a:To obtain WFP Questionnaire (please contact Abdulmalik MUQHUT abdulmalik.muqhut@wfp.org , copying Omar ALHOMSE omar.alhomse@wfp.orgThe WFP Questionnaire should accompany, Company profile and commercial registration.This announcement is not a tender and rates are not being requested at this stage.
