At least 5 years of practical hands-on experience in water treatment and supply, sanitation, public health or hydrology.
At least 1 year of experience in emergency response or humanitarian relief.
Communication Skills:
Good communication skills in written and spoken Arabic and English required.
Comfortable with virtual forms of communication including messaging and video applications.
Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with local community representatives and authorities.
Resilience/Adaptability: Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to identify problems and propose and implement solutions in challenging implementation environments.
Work Style: Conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines and achieving results.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
The WASH Engineer is a full-time position based in Saadah, following a 8:00am-4:00pm (Five (5) days a week) schedule, with a 30 minute lunch, and according to the needs and agreement set-up with management.
The WASH Engineer will be required to travel extensively to districts of implementation, namely Majz, Saqayn, Sehar, and As Safra, and other districts as and when required.
According to needs, the WASH Engineer may be asked to intervene in other locations throughout ACTED areas of intervention and/or in other governorates in Yemen, namely Al Jawf governorate, as per management request.
REMUNERATION
This position has the following Net salary: 1,110 USD
