Dear Sir/Madam
Please be informed that based on fraud reported by members via Transaction Code 40 in the previous month, your merchant DAR AL DEFAYA HOTEL APART has exceeded the Visa Fraud monitoring Program (VFMP) thresholds (US$ 75,000 in cross-border fraud, AND 1.00% in cross-border fraud to sales dollar amount ratio) for the month of Mar 2016.
The fraud performance detail is summarized below:
• Merchant Name: DAR AL DEYAFA HOTEL APART

The merchant has been given a three-month workout period to reduce their fraud below the program thresholds. If the merchant performs below the program thresholds for three consecutive months, the merchant will be considered compliant with the VFMP program and the case will be closed.
If the merchant’s fraud performance meets or exceeds the program thresholds after the workout period expires and before they are considered compliant with the VFMP program, a chargeback window will be opened from the first day of the month after the workout period expires. Impacted issuers will be given the right to chargeback all fraudulent transactions {under chargeback reason code 93} whilst the chargeback window is open.
Required Action:
Please complete the remediation plan with details on steps taken to mitigate chargeback risk at the merchant location and send it back by uploading it on VRPT by the 1st of next month. If the merchant has previously been identified, please only send us any additional updates on top of the previous action plan submitted.
