Get involved with 'Prisons - Doing More Harm Than Good?' a news and current-affairs style programme, anchored by national newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky.
Drawing upon ITN's 60 year heritage and expertise in storytelling, the
collaboration between ITN Productions and ICPA explores the need to rethink the use of our prison systems and helps the sector address the issues that arise from incarceration, including re-entry into the community.
'Prisons - Doing More Harm Than Good?, will premiere at the ICPA annual conference in London, October 2017. The programme will then form part of an extensive online communications campaign, with distribution to the industry and media outlets.
ITN Productions' Head of Industry News, Simon Shelley said, "We're delighted to be partnering with ICPA to create a programme exploring how we can develop a joined up prison system and the challenges of segregation, treatment of people in prison and integration back into society. We'll examine the future of prisons and their role in society looking at innovative solutions as a means of engaging professionals in the sector with the power of compelling storytelling."
