So you know today at the executive board meeting of UNESCO, the United States voted no on a highly politicized resolution related to the Old City of Jerusalem and its sacred sites. That resolution originally proposed, as we talked about yesterday, asserting that the Western Wall should be considered an integral part of the Haram al-Sharif/Temple Mount. As a result of the constructive engagement of the United States, other member-states, and the director general, the most highly problematic language in that resolution was removed. So – and five other states, member-states, joined us in voting against the occupied Palestine item. Because this resolution was not adopted by consensus, the director general is not going to implement it.
