Thanks for taking the time to contact us about the issue you're experiencing with tracking on your Razer product. Normally this issue can be fixed by holding down the left click, right click, and the middle mouse click buttons for 5 seconds. This will reset the surface tracking settings on your Razer mouse's sensor.
If, after reapplying your surface calibration settings, you experience consistent tracking problems, it is recommended you leave your mouse stationary during the booting, rebooting, or waking up of your computer to allow your sensor to calibrate itself during startup.
Additionally please adjust the polling rate under the "PERFORMANCE" tab, to 125 or 500 and clean the sensor of the mouse as well.
Please follow the following steps in order to clean the lens on your mouse
1) Try cleaning the sensor lens with a "Qtip" and some alcohol. Let it dry for 5 minutes and try again.
2) Please ensure that you are using Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol 99% for this purpose. Do not use rubbing alcohol that contains ethanol.
3) Further cleaning can be obtained by using some "air in a can" or canned air" to blow out any dust on and around the sensor assembly"
If your cursor is still jumping erratically please try using your mouse on a regular white sheet of paper and inform me if still jumps.
Thank you for contacting Razer Support, and I look forward to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Razer Software Team
