Bharti makes preparations for a ritual. Baa gets scared. Anukalp tries to stop Bharti but she does not listen. Finally, Hetal manages to stop Bharti from carrying out the ritual. Bharti tells Hetal that she must make her penance as she believed Mona and spoiled her life. She decides to repent by observing a fast for two days. Bijal taunts Anukalp that it was because he married Mona that the family is suffering in this way. Even Bapuji tells that he will repent believing Mona by observing silence for a whole day. Mona hopes Anukalp would give her much needed comfort and compassion. However, Anukalp berates her for her careless behavior and holds her responsible for the family's suffering. Vimmi weeps as she is worried that the Gandhi's will make Mona suffer. Dimpy and Parminder try to accuse Mona. Gurnaam wonders how Mona can make such a mistake. He asks Karan. Karan tells Gurnaam that Dimpy had told him that Hetal is getting married to A Gujrati boy, so he kept quiet. Dimpy manages to turn the tables around. Satnaam blames Vimmi for being careless. Meanwhile, Mona is saddened by the fact that even Anukalp does not believe her. In the morning, Bharti tells Mona that she will not be allowed to do any religious rituals in their house. On the day of their return to Canada, Dimpy tells Parminder that she will make sure that Karan marries her. Parminder worries that everyone is about to take them to the airport. Dimpy hatches a plan to ensure her and Parminder's continued stay with the Bedis. As the Bedis bid farewell to Dimpy and Parminder, Dimpy announces the Canadian Embassy had extended their stay by a week. Gurnaam suspects that Dimpy is definitely hiding something. At the Gandhi residence, everyone tries to dissuade Bharti from observing the strict fast. When Mona offers to help in the kitchen, she is ignored by everyone.
