4. Always obtain proper authority from cardholder before you complete a transaction. Merchant should try to obtain a copy/imprint of the card. “Written Authority” from cardholder to be obtained along with a copy of identifications and a confirmation email by the card holder post confirming the debit is advised.
5. The Merchant must obtain approval for each transaction with CVV2 (for Visa Cards) or CVC2 (for MasterCard). The CVV2 or CVC2 number found on the reverse of the card.
6. Transactions that have been received, as chargeback from issuer banks will be recovered from your bank account or guaranteed amount under advice. The Bank reserves the right at all times under the Chargeback rule as per the formal agreement. (Clause 13.1)
7. The risk involved in a key entered transaction is higher than in swipe and the excess risk might come in terms of excess disputed and needs to be considered in the merchant business plan.
8. The Merchant acknowledges that if the cardholder amount to be refunded, the merchant agrees to refund the amount only to card account which was used for purchase and merchant will not refund the amount through bank transfer, pay order, cash etc.
If these Terms and conditions are acceptable, please arrange to sign the copy of this letter by authorized signatory/ies acknowledging your acceptance to this agreement. Also, please find attached a note on some best practices which you could be of help for you. We wish to emphasize that these measured are recommended for the sake of secure card transactions at your end and to minimize the associated risks of customer disputes which can lead to both financial and reputation loss by you.
