* Supporting project/site managers and project engineers with preparation, review and collation of all project specific method statements, risk assessments and safety documentation.

* Conducting site safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legislation, standards and procedures while recommending and closing out actions for identified non-conformances.

* Performing investigation of accidents/incidents to identify root causes and implementing remedial measures to prevent recurrences.

* Providing Health and Safety (H&S) support, advice and instructions to client, project contractors and site teams.

* Organising and monitoring daily site activities, effectively liaising with subcontractors and monitoring contractors’ work to ensure project execution in line with set timeframes.

* Ensuring all workers comply with safety rules and regulations.

* Conducting toolbox meetings for all company workers including scaffolds, drivers, crane drivers and cladding workers.

* Undertaking short toolbox meetings onsite for steel workers.

* Overseeing barriers and lifting activities and conducting safety and onsite meetings with Komponenten Erection.

* Experience of working with gas turbine, generator, piping and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) ducts.

* Possessing knowledge of mechanical erection works of gas turbine, generator and piping systems.

* Evaluating safety documentation such as near-miss paperwork, pictures from delivery fabrication of truck, fabrication/erection/safety errors as well as control documentation for Request for Erection (RFE).

* Responsible for RFE handover to client and mechanical/piping/electric departments.

* Updating project manager on all arising issues.
