During the operation phase, there are three key activities in addition to the construction itself:
monitor and control, resource management, and documentation and management. Monitor
and control covers supervision of, among others, time, cost and quality (Bennett, 2003). The
project manager is usually the person who undertakes this management process to keep track
of undergoing activities. As previously mentioned, time, cost and quality are key aspects of
each project and hence managing them is an important activity. Time management is used to
log actual time spent for execution of certain tasks. It also helps to allocate resources more
effectively and control schedule of performing works (Westland, 2006).
