Bhama shah was a devotee of Adinath Bhagwan the first tirthankar of Jainism. Bhamashah is also noted for having built one of the famous Dilwara Temples, where his personal palace was also situated.[3]
Bhama shah died in 1600 at the time of his death he was in-charge of Mewar's treasury under Amar Singh I. Descendants of Bhamashah also served as prime ministers of the Maharanas of Udaipur for a few generations. His descendants still live in Udaipur.
Jiske liye Rana Pratap ne dhool junglon ki chhanee. Jis par nij sarvasva lutakar Bhamashah bana dani. Jaan Ganvakar veer hakeekat ne rakha jiska pani, Banda Bairagi ne haskar jis par dee nij kurbani. Gauri, Ghazni, Ghulam, Lodhi kar na sake mismar jise Mita na payi Nadirshahi , Taimuri talwar jise Mita sakega ab isko koi, hai utna balwan nahin Pyara Hindustan kabhi sah sakta apman nahin
