The Field Maintenance Manager is responsible for management of all On-site Field Operation activities of the services and/or resources in the Network
Key Responsibilities:
• Define Field Maintenance overall priorities and work strategies based on main goals and priorities defined by Management & Control
• Authorize Field Operations changes and investments within the authority delegated by Management and Control
• Ensure that the Field Operations is adequately staffed according to the service delivery requirements
• Ensure that Field Operations budget and profitability is managed according to goals and priorities defined by Management & Control
• Attend in managements meetings in the capacity of Assessment / Goal setting responsible for Field Operations.
• Support Management and Control functions to define / negotiate service supply revisions with customer
• Responsible for availability of spare parts, tools / instruments and their distribution and handling.
• Responsible for having efficient and documented routines / procedures with all concerned inter working units e.g.: different system support units, other operators, subcontractors, rollout units, planning / engineering units, etc. Responsible for communicating any changes to such procedures to the relevant partner.
• Ensures that the O&M performance goals are met.
• Present and discuss all aspects of network field maintenance with all parties concerned. This includes all relevant equipment and elements in the network.
• Responsible for maintaining the network availability plus hitting the required target and KPI.
• Ensure that Management & Control receives reports of Field Maintenance and / or other performance reports applicable to the service delivery on a scheduled basis.
• Vendor management including sub-contracting negotiation, vendor performance management.
• Plans the activities and work schedules of the field personnel in accordance to ongoing projects and activities.
•Budget and cost control.
