Procedure
First, you need to scan and send us the documents you need to get in your home country. We will check them and if there are no inconveniences you will proceed to send them via courier with a letter authorizing us to schedule an appointment for you at the National Immigrations Office. We will schedule your appointment depending on when you plan to arrive in Uruguay.
You will need to travel for the appointment. Once in Uruguay we will escort you to the clinic and the bank.
Finally, we will go to the National Immigrations Office with all the required documents to start the procedure. You will receive an immigration certificate to obtain a temporary Uruguayan identification card at the National Civilian Identification Office. This identification is valid for a year and it may be renewed until the residency is granted. Once you obtain your permanent residency you will get a permanent identification card valid for three years.
