Evaluate and process the A/E and contractor progress payments and their close out payments.
Estimate and verify materials on site to control contractor’s material inventory system, ensuring proper accounting of consumption of materials and consistency with actual performance.
Estimate variation orders and establish the rate buildup of lump sum items
Review contractors’ program in close coordination with the planning team and ensure proper cost loading in order to exercise acceptable cash flow.
Maintain all records with respect to the cost administration of the contract i.e. payment applications, variations, payments on account, accruals, etc.
Review and analyze financial aspects of contractor’s proposals for better performance and results including and financial appraisal of claims.
Provide assistance with administration of contracts, oversee contract correspondences and highlight potential claim triggers.
Provide advice to other project management team members on the interpretation of contract documents and recommend solutions to contractual issues.
Assist in preparation of necessary documents for contracts close-outs and final accounts.
