History of Britain, to the best of my knowledge, tells the story of man, man against circumstances, man against himself and man against nature. This conflict highlights the hidden movement of human history in general and British history in particular. The beginning of British history can be traced back to the Stone Age (5000 BC- 55BC) in which groups of farmers arrived in England from southern Europe. These farmers are followed by heaps of invaders who came from Rome, Germany and France, forming historical periods known as the Celts (800-600 BC- Roman occupation) and Roman Britain (55BC- AD 440).
