Responsibilities:
• Management of base facilities (office and warehouse) and all local staff;
• Supervision of departments Admin, Log and Finance and sharing information for efficient and timely implementation of projects;
• Review, check all Administrative docs i.e. contracts, bills, vouchers, etc. and after AC approval sign the necessary logistic scenario A, B purchase documents, waybills;
• Chair support department meetings as well as weekly base coordination meetings
• Liaise with Capital office for any base issue including security or administrative matters on timely manner;
• Build a strong team spirit among the staff, allowing good communication and collaboration between support, AME and program departments;
• Liaise with government authorities, community groups and NGOs to better plan and coordinate base activities, and in coordination with AC;
• Upon request of AC, attend Government and NGOs meetings;
• Ensure strong communication with departments. and capital office in terms of management and implementation of system, procedures and programs;
• Liaise and communicate with other ACTED bases in terms of Logistics support in particular;
• Assist in recruitment process of base level staff;
• Performs other duties requested by his direct supervisor.
Depending on the profile of the successful candidate, the Base Manager could also be asked to perform as the Security Focal Point for the Sa’ada Base.

• Organized and methodical person, ability to work independently, to take initiatives and to deal with people.
• Ability to take decision and bear responsibilities

• Able to work under pressure and be willing to work with tight deadlines
• Flexible and capable of multi-tasking as actions required to manage an event must be arranged concurrently.
• Must possess problem-solving skills, be a team player and a self-starter.
Qualifications
• University degree holder in Administration or any relevant field as minimum requirement
• previous work experience at a similar management position, 3 years minimum
• Previous NGO experience preferred
• Language requirements: native Arabic speaker and Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
