Advances in communications technology are radically changing the ways of working across time and space — and consequently the demand for and design of buildings. One of the major advances is the development of cordless technology and data transfer, whereby office workers are no longer bound to their offices where space is often becoming significantly underused and can vary their work times in a more convenient location.
