GENERAL
This Scope of work, BOQ and associated PROJECTConceptual Design Drawings, which are attached to this document, describes the specific scope of work that the Contractor isrequired to carry out on Procurement and Construction - Lump SumTurnkey basis, until the successful commissioning, completion and final acceptance of work.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The COMPANY requires to build new offices for LPD Dep. of the total area is 573M². Where378 M² are covered already with structural steel and the contractor need to cover the other 195M² with structural steel. The site is in Dammam, 1st industrial city.
PROJECT SUMMARY
The CONTRACTOR shall perform material procurement, quality management, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and allassociated work and services until final handing over of the proposed WORK in a satisfactorily working and operating condition to the COMPANY as specified in this Scope of Work and Drawings.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
A-All component and accessories required for the completion and successful operation of the work covered under the scope of this project ,either specified in detail or not, shall be supplied, installed or constructed by the contractor as necessary.
B- The materials and accessories supplied under this project shall be in accordance with the scope of work. However in case of a conflict in the requirements, the contractor shall bring this to the attention of the company and shall obtain such applicable requirements for the project in writing from the company. The contractor shall have no right to decide on his own the requirements in case of such conflict, and in case of such an eventuality, he will be doing so at his own risk and cost as the company reserves the right to reject any or the complete part of such work arising out of the contractor’s own decision.
C- The contractor shall read the attached drawings in conjunction with the scope of work and specification.
D- The contractor shall submit a sample of items and accessories for approval before any action on site.
E-The contractor should present a time frame plan for this project along with the quotation.
KICK-OFF MEETING
A- kick-off meeting will be held in company Headquarters shortly after award of the contract, the meeting will cover project implementation, the scope of work and the schedule and will give the contractor the opportunity to discuss all matters related to carrying out his responsibilities.
SCOPE OF WORK
General:
A-The contractor shall build new offices of the total area is 573 M² as per the drawing # CL-CV-001-04-15 with all utilities such as toilets, kitchenette etc.. 378 M² of the area is covered with steel structure where the other 195 M² shall be covered with steel structure as per the drawing # CL-CV-002-04-15
B- The Bidder/contractor shall visit the sites and make himself aware of the details of the existing facility.
C. the materials Specification shall be as the Following:
1- Partition shall be supplied from Zamil Partitions along with the doors, accessories and glasses.
2- The contractor shall demolish an existing steel stair
3- The contractor shall build 20cm block wall with 70 m X 2.6 m with plastering and paint
4- Ceramic tiles market price shall not be less than SR 50.
5- False ceiling market price shall not be less than SR 30.
6- All toilet and kitchen accessories Market price shall not be less than SR
