This study will examine the correlation between teacher empowerment and transformational leadership in large high schools. A cross-correlational analysis will be conducted to test for significant relationships among the six dimensions of teacher empowerment (as described by Short & Rinehart, 1994), and the eight dimensions of transformational leadership (as described by Leithwood, Jantzi, & Steinbach, 1999). Overall comprehensive assessments of each topic will be measured and assessed for the degree of correlation. Some factors, such as teacher gender, age, tenure/non-tenure, subject taught, years of experience, education level, and special vs. regular education will also be explored and assessed for their relationship to each of the main variables i
