model explicated habits of mind in a practical way for classroom teachers and
enumerated’habits of mind in a thorough, yet comprehensible, manner.
Since Dimensions of Learning is an instructional model for restructuring
schools, it is neither domain- nor age-specific, and it does not require
building-wide application. The Dimensions of Learning model of instruction
can be applied in phonics class or physics class, to kindergarten students or to
college students, and can be utilized by a single teacher or by an entire district.
