may be different for single people than for families or
couples. Solo travellers are less constrained in decisionmaking
than groups of families or friends since they do not
have to reach consensus over travel decisions with other
individuals (Ariely & Levav, 2000; Kozak, 2010; Kozak &
Duman, 2012). Additionally, they can travel at their own
pace and pursue any activity they want to do without having
to worry about pleasing another person (Jordan & Gibson,
2005; Laesser et al., 2009). Therefore, the main motivations
for solo travellers might be more related to push factors such
