When Shikhar left Devanshi at my home on the 11th of August, she had no idea and neither did we that she would not be allowed to collect her personal belongings.
It is now 11 days since that happened, and despite our repeated requests to hand over Devanshi's personal belongings, we regret that you have chosen not to do so.
Devanshi has been very severely inconvenienced by this. For a young woman to go through her daily life without any of her personal belongings is nothing less than traumatic. She is finding it difficult to even go to office everyday.
There is also a wedding coming up in the family for which she needs her clothes, jewellery etc. all of which is lying with you. Chetna and I are pained to see the agony Deyanshi is being needlessly put to > We can see no reason for this mental harassment not understand how you can hold onto something which legitimately belongs to her.
I am writing to you to request you once again to arrange to immediately return all of Devanshi's personal belongings.
I shall hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,
Pradeep himji
