is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who originally hails from the east coast. He grew up in Washington D.C. and has lived in both Boston and New York City. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and then studied art in New York City at Parsons School of Design and the Art Students League prior to entering Cornell University Medical College. After his third year of medical school, he spent a year in Paris conducting research, returning to Cornell for his fourth year to receive his Doctorate of Medicine with early membership in the honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. At graduation, he and two classmates were recognized as the top three medical students in the graduating class. He then received the honor of being the first physician ever accepted into the new and highly regarded University of Pittsburgh Medical Center integrated plastic surgery training program. This comprehensive program combines six years of general and plastic surgery training with two additional years of intensive research.
